Judging CV My first Judging appointment was (4 classes) of Cocker Spaniels at the Ashbourne & District open show in August 1989.In January 1990 l judged my first Breed Club which was The Black Cocker Spaniel Society(20 classes)September 1990 Eastbourne & District (4) classes of Cockers,followed by (4)classes of Cockers in 1991 Worthing & Districts open show. in May
1993 l judged 21 classes at the Coventry Cocker breed open show, Due to personal commitments l did not accept any judging appointments for several years, as l ceased showing my cockers.
My recent breed club appointment was 21 classes at the Home Counties Cocker club breed open show in July 2005,l have attended a hands on Judging seminar organised by the West of England Cocker Spaniel Club in 2005 which l was awarded a pass certificate.I require more classes to move up the list, at the moment l am on the The Cocker Spaniel Club A3 list, judged cockers at The kent County open Show in August 2013 where l judged Cockers , 17th October 2015 l judged cockers at the South Western Gundog Club 5 Classes of Cockers.judged Maidenhead & District Open Show 4 classes cocker spaniels 17th February 2018
my first appontment at a limit show l judged three classes of American Cockers and English cockers this was in the early 1980's under my former surname of Hempstead but have had hands on experience with other gundog breeds that l would be interested in judging if asked.I am prepared to accept long distance appointments.
   
Other Info My love of English Cockers continues although past experience as a family we owned bred and exhibited Irish Setters, English Springer Spaniels, Irish Water Spaniels,American Cockers,
also l have owned and bred Toy Poodles which l own purely as loving pets.
I currently exhibit my home bred English Cocker dog whch l qualified for crufts last year.I havw owned CC winners and Junior warrant winners, l also have had dogs in the stud book. Club activities I served as a treasurer of the original Red and Golden Cocker Spaniel club during the early eighties and was also at the same time a committee member for the once known Black Cocker Spaniel Society, l have also been active at open shows acting as steward,l have attended the conformation and hands on seminar arranged by the Coventry Cocker Spaniel Club for my breed which l was awarded a pass certificate.
Distance Prepared to Travel I am situated in Hampshire,l would prefer to consider a limit of 100 miles unless accomodation was available
Any Expenses Required Accomodation for long distance Judging would be welcome.
