Judging CV I first judged Briards in 1992, having shown dogs since 1980. Various breeds have shared my life - GSD, CKCS, Briard, PLS, Irish Wolfhound, TT, Lhasa Apso, Pug, Japanese Chin, Tibetan Mastiff, Pekingese, KCS, Bulldog and an Australian Cattle Dog.
I judge the Working, Pastoral, Toy and Utility groups at Open show level and have also judged some Terrier breeds. At Championship show level I award CC in multiple breeds across Working, Pastoral, Toy and Utility groups. My first Championship level Utility Group was 2023, and I am passed for the Toy group.
Member of Kennel Club.
I enjoy breed seminars to increase my knowledge.
Overseas judging in Norway (twice), Latvia (twice), Ukraine, Russia (twice)and Poland.

Other Info In the 1980's I studied with Canine Studies Institute, gaining my Judging Diploma with distinction - my tutor was Jean Blyth who I did not meet personally until some 14 years later when I had my first Apso.
Studying canine anatomy and physiology to become a fully qualified Canine Massage Therapist (DipICAT) added to my understanding of conformation and movement.
