| Judging CV | In the late 1980s I studied for the Judging Diploma, specialising in the Working (now working and Pastoral) groups. I have passed the KC Requirements of a Dog Show Judge; Confirmation Construction & Movement, and 'Hands on' seminars & exams. I began judging at Open Show level in the 1990s. I awarded CCs in Australian Shepherds for the first time in 2013. I have owned and shown German Shepherds since the 1970s, Australian Shepherds since 1995, and Pointers since 1998. I am on A1 judging lists for Australian Shepherds, A3 lists for German Shepherds, B lists for Border Collies, C lists for Hovawarts, Shetland Sheepdogs, Bearded Collies, Pointers, German Shorthaired Pointers. I have awarded two BIS and twp Groups at Open Shows prior to rule changes,and have judged many other breeds at Open Show level, including Great Dane, Rough Collie, Belgian Shepherd, Newfoundland, Samoyed, Siberian Husky,Old English Sheepdog, Lancashire Heeler, Pembroke Corgi, Doberman, Rottweiler, Basset Hound. |
| Other Info | I was Chairman of the Isle of Wight Canine Association, and their Ringcraft Head Trainer. I have also held the posts of Social Secretary, Assistant Show Secretary, Ringcraft and Match Secretary for the Guernsey Kennel Club. I regularly steward at several Championship shows each year. I have made up 2 Australian Shepherd Champions and I have 2 GSDs, 2 Australian Shepherds and 1 Pointer in the KC Stud Book. |
