| Judging CV | My very first judging appointment was 27th September 2015, judging my own breed Italian Spinone at Bridgford & DCS. I am currently on the B list for Italian Spinone. I am on the C list for Bracchi Italiano & German wirehaired Pointers. I also have experience judging German pointers and have an interest in all the gundog group, with a special interest in HPR breeds. As a family we have always owned working terriers, and currently own a Jack Russell Terrier, again the terriers and indeed hounds are both groups that hold more than a passing interest for me. | Other Info | Owned, shown and worked Spinoni since 2004, although I do not complete competitively I enjoy the training and working side of owning a HPR breed immensely, there’s nothing quite like a day out just you and your dog. Watching a dog hunting using it’s natural ability always brightens even the darkest of days. I began showing my Spinone in and around Europe, and had some modest success with my foundation bitch. I rarely breed, however all the dogs we’ve shown have gained their studbook numbers. And I have recently made up my stud fee puppy. I currently serve on the committees of the ISCGB, Ashbourne &DCS and Eastwood Kennel Association. We have shown in both the UK and Europe, with reasonable success, all the dogs we’ve shown gained their studbook number. We’ve only bred two litters as I only breed to keep something. The two we kept from these breedings both went onto win their RCC and gained their studbook numbers. I have imported 3 ( from Italy, Denmark & The Netherlands) I am a member of several clubs who I offer any help needed, the ISCGB, Dukeries, Retford, and HPRGA, |
