Judging CV I started judging Afghan Hounds and whippet breed classes in the late 1970's. I have judged all hound breeds at Open show level. I gave my first whippet CC's in 1991 and have judged whippets to CC level frequently in UK, Scandinavia and Europe. Australia and Crufts dogs 2016
I was passed and judged Afghan Hounds to CC level in 2022

Other Info I bought my first 'show' whippet in 1973 and have had whippets in my life ever since. I have also owned and exhibited Afghan Hounds and a deerhound.
In 1980 I bought Carmodian Tawny Knight of Hutaka. He became my first champion and my foundation whippet male. He was also a very successful sire (top whippet sire for 3 years) producing champions and CC winners both in the UK and in Europe and USA. His progeny included my own Multi Champion Sunsalve Hollidaze at Hutaka (Top UK whippet 1988, Group winner and Best in Show at Bournemouth Championship show 1988) and Bizzie Lizzie of Hutaka, herself the mother to Champion Phinjani Pinball Wizard, after I loaned her to my mother.
I rarely breed, but I have exported a limited number of youngsters and frozen AI straws who have gone on to win and influence lines in U.S.A. Sweden, Norway, France and other European countries.
I recently retired as a committee member of The Whippet Club. I have served as secretary and Chairman of the UK Whippet Breed Council where I am currently Vice Chairman.
I have attended breed seminars (for several different whippet breed clubs) as a speaker and as a mentor, training upcoming judges on breed specifics.
I am still an active whippet exhibitor with a young Champion/group winning male.
I have extended my judging experience to include Dachshunds which I also show and need a few more numbers to achieve CC status. I am currently Chairman of the Miniature Dachshund Club. I also enjoy Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Deerhounds and Greyhounds and will continue to progress with those breeds.
