| Judging CV | My first appointment is for Merseyside Gun dogs on 12th November 2017, Where i will judge Italian Spinoni. I have judged many match nights and fun shows to gain experience, I intend to explore bettering my knowledge as I grow and want to also judge in Briards eventually, Through my stewarding I often get placed in the working rings and my interest in those breeds is growing and this is another avenue I would like to explore and gain experience in. |
| Other Info | I own Briards and own/exhibit Italian Spinoni. I have undertaken The breed seminar for beginners twice because I wanted to make sure I absorbed the information and had chance to see if my learning methods were effective by doing these 9 months apart, I've also sat the Point of dogs, conformation and movement, Requirments of a dog show judge and critique writing seminars, Lastly i have a certificate in canine first aid. I served 2 years on the committee for Huddersfield and District Canine Association, I founded and ran a Training club, All breed canine club, We also held seminars and training events for aspiring judges in huddersfield for 3 years before closing due to relocation. I steward as often as I can and really enjoy doing so, I use the opportunity to learn as much as I can, I would be classed as an experienced steward and fully capable of doing the job on my own or as a team. I've done an open university degree in canine behaviour and followed that up with a second course in reactive dogs, I've had the opportunity to put those courses to use with pet owners. I have taught GCDS classes in foundation and bronze for HDCA and trained my own dogs using this scheme also. |
