| Judging CV | I started judging Afghan Hounds on 20/09/97 and after judging classes at a number of General Open Shows with a wide geographical spread, I progressed to the Breed Club 'B' lists. Judging appointments since then have included the following: - Leeds Championship Show: Dogs & Bitches (no CCs) - July 2008 Northern Afghan Hound Society Open Show: Dogs & Bitches - November 2009 Southern Afghan Club Open Show: Dogs - September 2010 Midland Afghan Hound Club Open Show: Bitches - March 2011 Afghan Hound Association Open Show: Dogs - October 2011 Midland Afghan Hound Club Open Show: Dogs - March 2013 I awarded CCs in Afghan Hounds for the first time in 2015. Appointments include: - Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show: Afghan Hound Dogs & Bitches - August 2015 Midland Afghan Hound Club Championship Show: Dogs - May 2017 I was also honoured to be invited to award CACs (Dogs & Bitches) at the Swedish Afghan Hound Club's Summer Specialty at Stromsholm, Sweden in June 2016, which is part of the prestigious 'Skokloster' weekend. |
| Other Info | I have been a breeder/owner/exhibitor of Afghan Hounds since 1989, having been involved with the breed since 1985. I have been Chairman of the Midland Afghan Hound Club since 2007, having been a Committee member since 1993. I was Editor of the Club magazine 'The Afghan Ticket' for approximately 16 years. I have also been Show Manager for the Club for many years. I was Secretary of the Nottingham Afghan Training Club from 1992 - 2019, during which time I ran fortnightly training sessions and was honoured to 'judge' many Afghans that went on to great success in the show ring. I have been an 'Our Dogs' Breed Correspondent since 2015. |
