| Judging CV | I started judging whippets in 2006 and have now judged 20 hound breeds, 5 gundog breeds and 7 terrier breeds. I awarded CACs at The Belgian Whippet Club on 1 May 2016 and awarded CCs in the UK for the first time at Three Counties, June 2017. Dogs with SBN: 6 Whippets Breeds Owned & Shown: Whippet & Deerhound Breed Seminars: Whippet (passed), Dachshund exam passed (Not assessed), Bracco Italiano exam passed (Not assessed), Deerhound exam passed (Not assessed), Borzoi (Not assessed), Afghan Hound (Not assessed), Beagle (Not assessed). JEP MCE Passes: Hounds: Afghan Hound, Basenji, Basset Hound, BGV(G), BGV(P), Beagle, Deerhound, Norwegian Elkhound, Otterhound & Rhodesian Ridgeback. Terriers: Border Terrier, Jack Russell Terrier KC Seminars: I have attended and passed (where appropriate) all KC Seminars. I have stewarded at more than 25 shows. Not on Lists or have JEP MCE Passes, but also feel competent to judge: Irish Wolfhounds & Greyhounds. |
| Other Info | I was brought up with Pekes and Afghans but I have owned Whippets since 1987 and Deerhound from 2007 to 2019. I bred 4 Whippets when they first achieved their SBNs, the other two Whippets with SBNs, I own. One of those achieved her JW and was made up in 2013, also gaining the title of Top CC Winning Bitch 2013. I served on the North Eastern Whippet Society Committee from 2008 to 2016 holding the posts of Webmaster, Breed Health Co-ordinator & Chair. I am Chair and Breed Health Co-ordinator of the Northern Counties Whippet Club, and I am also Vice Chair and Treasurer of the Whitehaven & District Canine Association Committee, including the Judges' Sub-Committees of all societies. I am also an ordinary Committee member of the Bracco Italiano Society. I have an interest in the Bracco Italiano and am on the B list for non-specialists of the Bracco Italiano Society. I am willing to travel and stay overnight for judging appointments. |
